Highlights of the 2024 Report:
- One in four children under age 5around the world (some27%of children under age 5 or181 million) isexperiencing severe food povertyand is vulnerable to life-threatening malnutrition.
- Over two-thirds of the 181 millionyoung children living in severe food povertylive in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, with20 countries accounting for 65%of the children living in severe food poverty.
