Defence & Internal Security Prelims Plus

The bilateral exercise, Ex UDARASHAKTI between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

Ex UDARASHAKTI – it was first started in 2018.

Exercises will strengthen long-standing friendships and enhance defence cooperation between both armies. As a result, regional security will be strengthened.

IAF will have an opportunity to share and learn best practices with the Royal Malaysian Air Force through this exercise. It is also likely that they will discuss mutual combat capabilities.

The Indian contingent took part in the air exercise with Su-30 MKI and C-17 aircraft while the RMAF participated with Su-30 MKM aircraft.

The IAF contingent has now moved on to Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Darwin, Australia for Exercise Pitch Black 22.

Harimau Shakti is Joint military exercises between India and Malaysia.

Samudra Laksamana is a joint naval exercise.
