On account of visit of Maldivian President, both sides reviewed bilateral ties and discussed ways to strengthen linkages in areas ofdevelopment partnership, trade, connectivity and P2P ties, among others.
Six MoU/agreements are signed between both the countries in areas includingcyber security, disaster management, and infrastructure.
India had approved credit line for manyinfrastructure projectin Maldives like Hanimadhoo Airport Development project, Greater Male Connectivity Project, etc.
Somedefencerelated announcements are Supply of a replacement ship for the earlier provided ship-CGS Huravee -to Maldives National Defence Force, Supply of the second Landing Craft Assault (LCA) to Maldives National Defence Force, Gifting of 24 utility vehicles to Maldives National Defence Force.
